DVD Writer Can't Burn Disks But Able To Read !!?

What happens?? I'm still able to use it 2 days back and then all of a sudden it stops working!! I'm using Cheetah DVD Burner and it simply gave me an error message saying that it cannot recognize any burning hardware... But everything works smoothly for reading DVDs.. Help!
