Why is shawn marion's jumpshot so accurate and the field goal percentage is so much higher than kobe byrant?
No matter how awkward his shot is, he felt really comfortable with it. He got the follow through he needed, he got the touch he needed. The reason why he averages better field goal % is he plays the 3 or 4. That means, you play more inside than outside. 11 times out of 10, people who are trying to shoot closer to the basket will get a higher chance to score a bucket. that's plain and simple. I'd disagree in terms of accuracy. If Marion stayed as a double-double machine even if he left Nash, then I will believe what you said, but things didn't turn out that way and his numbers are like falling rocks. It's a major downfall. :)
