Is an excessive amount of catnip harmful to cats?

Recently, I came home to realize that a miniature bag of catnip was opened and spilled all over the floor. I have two cats and I believe my younger one knocked it down from the counter. I have kept an eye on the cats and my older ones seems a little more wild then she usually is. Is too much catnip bad for cats? Can it be harmful if ingested? Thanks.
