For recent converts to Catholicism?

Do you get the feeling that your conversion was the result of "coincidences" that added up until finally a strong desire to become Catholic just made sense? In other words, when you think back to the time before you were a member of the Church, do you feel as if you may have been guided towards the "narrow gate" by something you can't really explain???
